Patricia A. Coughenour, M.D.
Dr. Coughenour joined Partners in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2025. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, NY, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Coughenour holds hospital privileges at Women & Infants Hospital and serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University. She moved to Providence, Rhode Island, with her wife — and favorite pediatrician — Mary Helen, where they hope to grow their family.
She enjoys providing full-spectrum OB-GYN care, including minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and robotics. Dr. Coughenour is passionate about partnering with her patients to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care that supports their health and well-being at every stage of life.
